IDM can refer both to Intelligent dance music (aka Braindance) and Industrial Death Metal. IDM is a popular name for an electronic music genre that emerged in the early 1990s at the end of the British rave era. The genre is influenced by a wide range of musical styles particularly electronic dance music such as Detroit Techno.     with today´s complex mixtures and styles classifying music has become a quite futile thing to do. IDM is a genre or tag composed by various styles and sounds, from Boards of Canada's style IDM to Aphex Twin and everything in-between. During the last year I've composed, designed and record a record with various of this and other influences.
