There are three artists who use the moniker of Lorn:

1) An electronic musician from the United States
Lorn (born Marcos Ortega) is an American electronic musician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lorn’s first major exposure as a DJ came from his remix of grime musician Jammer’s track “Better Than”. He signed with Flying Lotus’s label, Brainfeeder, in 2010, and released his debut full-length album, Nothing Else, in June of that year.
In May 2011, he signed with London-based label Ninja Tune.
Lorn’s debut album perfectly linked the scene’s current state back to those early years of experimentation that so few people know about.

2) Two-Piece Black Metal band from Italy

3) Drone from Croatia

Black metal Lorn is one of the most destructive things I've ever heard... Primera Alma is RIDICULOUS.

This is not black metal Lorn. They screwed up when choosing the name (research, research, research).

Black metal Lorn is extremely underrated. Confuses me how little you hear of them. I genuinely think other bands of this ilk have a fair bit of catching up to do now.

I had no idea they (BM band) had been working on a second album. I don't think it's as immediately grabbing as the first album. Sounds like they've been listening to a lot of French BM (and in places it reminds me of Oranssi Pazuzu) which, which is cool. There are far worse influences out there.

black metal Lorn's new album is familiar, yet different. the vocals are very sparse, which I was caught off guard by. Always thought the vocals were really strong through the band's career. Perhaps with repeated listening, I will learn to appreciate it more. But certainly not an instant classic like the first LP or demo..
