Красивая,меланхоличная,заDOOMчивая музыка. В далёком 94ом эта пластинка была вероятно недооценена,ведь здесь не присутствуют типичные атрибуты для doom'а : здесь полностью отсутствует гроулинг,здесь даже сам саунд скорее роковый нежели металлический(уверен,что The Gathering прислушивались к этому творению). Экспериментальная и целиком одухотворённая работа,исполненная настоящей северной печали,отстранённой,холодной,что великолепно демонстрирует прекрасный голос Kari Rueslatten. Печально,но певица покинула коллектив после дебюта. Знаменитая progressive-death группа Opeth,возникшая на метал-сцене приблизительно в это же время,стала использовать схожие с The 3rd and the Mortal приёмы в своём творчестве. Вообще как можно не уважать музыкантов,делающих музыку ради самой музыки,придумывающих новые формы и сочетания? Новаторов. Этнические мотивы в Shaman и Salva Me,психоделия в Oceana(18минут органического слияния стилей!) и Song. И почти что джазовый барабанщик! Затянуто несколько разве..5-

@Starsforsaken: No it's not. "Autopoéma" is printed in the booklet and on the CD so you're wrong. Even on "Project Bluebook: Decade of Endeavour" the title is changed a bit, but still it's "AUTOphomea

Autopoéma isn't necessarily unpopular... It's just that many listeners tag it as Atupoéma, like it is printed on the back of the album's tray card. Other people tag it as Autopoema or Atupoema...
