Right Thought, Right Words, Right Action is the 4th studio album by Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand. It was due for release on the 26th August 2013, however it began appearing in stores the week before including availability in iTunes store and other various digital outlets. Almost all the tracks were performed live at various festival gigs prior to the release of the album. Right Action and Love Illumination were the two singles released on 7th July and 24th July respectively, their videos were released on youtube and made available for digital download.

Franz Ferdinand is a Scottish rock band that formed in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, in 2002 and played an important part in the post-punk revival of the 2000s. The band was composed of Alex Kapranos (lead vocals and guitar), Bob Hardy (bass guitar), Nick McCarthy (rhythm guitar, keyboards and backing vocals) and Paul Thomson (drums, percussion and backing vocals) until 2016 when McCarthy left them.
