Lol @ the stuck in the past shout. It has nothing to do with being stuck in the past. Muse used to be an experimental rock band and they decided to make simple rock songs. There's nothing wrong with that, and im glad that some people like everything they make, but it's not that weird that some people just don't like it anymore.

They are actually a good band. If you are stuck in the past and can't see how wonderful they new music are, it's your problem. [3] And this includes ALL the music genres, people say this mostly because nostalgia with old songs, but really don't have any excuses to say new music is BS, in any genre, with any band...

Muse is an interesting case. Everyone seems to hate them for some reason or another. Whether it be their close association with radiohead, which makes fans of radiohead hate them, or their wierd concepts that seem to be hit and miss at best, that make other people hate them. But the thing is, with Muse, there is probably something to like there. People who throw up the ultimatum that Muse is terrible have probably only listened to a couple of their songs and not liked what they saw. But then again, who can blame them? They have the right to think that. As a fan myself, it's hard to like all of a particular album. My favourite album of theirs, the first one, loses my interest after the ninth song. I'd bet some people have similar complaints for Radiohead, too. TL;DR: They can throw out some amazing stuff here and there, but some of it can fall flat.
