  • "Tonight" is way too awesome. Weird at first listents but stunning ever since. I'd say it's just the same that happens to FFS.

  • FFS is still bad, no matter what.
  • I think the main thing that kept me away from this band before was the fact that they seemed to be the most popular band around that time when "indie rock" stopped meaning independently produced rock music and started meaning "music for the hip!" or something like that, and the band was always put into that genre. Much of the so called "indie rock" from that boom era is so pretentious that it was hard to start and try to find something great.
  • I'm just listening to the "You Could Have..." album, it seems really good. I understand that FF has a lot of young fans and some of them aren't particularly supportive of FFS because they think it's "too weird" or "not enough guitars" or whatever, but PLEASE check out the 20+ album career of Sparks, for there's a reason why Kapranos holds Ron and Russell to such high regard! Personally I'm loving FFS - Alex and Russell compliment each other very well, and finally Sparks have a solid live band!
