But every band has its limits. [2] So I'm just thankful for the first three albums and wish them all the best.

TA now is mostly people who listen to pop-music and thus AM's music lost its charm and individuality. Oh well, sad to see this, but every band has it's limits.

More trivial topics? Whatever... was mostly about going out on the piss. Excellent album but not quite as good as Humbug.

Shit album, except for a few songs. Josh Homme on Knee Socks is a good thing, along with the decent opening three tracks.

I'll never understand this never ending discussing for what is good or not and better for last is: This is going to nowhere (Eu nunca irei entender essa discussão sem fim para o que é bom ou não é e o melhor para o final: Não está chegando em lugar nenhum).

It is my least favourite album of them, but still not a bad one. I think lyric wise it is quite surely their worst, but yeah many people love it so you can't really blame them for changing their topics to more superficial, trivial ones. Besides I'm impressed how they manage to recreate themselves on each new album (apart from Favourite Worst Nightmare perhaps) and still remain popular all the time. Of course there are tons of old fans who don't like this album, but you can never please everyone.

"I'm assuming most praise for this album is coming from one direction fans who never heard the previous albums." yeah it's like... at some point you do get introduced to a band and hear a certain album before the others, that's how nature works last time I checked. Unless you were born listening to their debut album, well then, that's a completely different issue. Also, most praise came from the critics.

This album doesn't deserve all the critical love nor the fan hate it gets. Nonetheless, I quite enjoyed it with the exception of about 4 tracks. Kind of a slower album than their earlier ones, but still very likeable music if you're in the right mindset.
