My name is Iva (which is kinda obvious) and I'm from Belgrade, Serbia. For those who have no idea where I know them from: I used to run supersonicsquirrel.net and squirrelism.net now I have iva-is.me. I'm a writer, designer and linguaphile.

My username is stupid. My taste is versatile. I don't rank music by genre, I couldn't care less about performers' personalities in 98% of the cases and I'm totally not ashamed of anything I'm listening to. Music is music and if it puts a person in a certain mood, then who cares what it is?

I probably prefer faster rhytmhs - such as those found in punk, twee, psychedelic rock and Eurodance and Eurohouse music. Second favourite? Probably singer-songwriters. Third favourite? Obscure instrumental tracks spanning all possible genres.

This thing was failing to scrobble from all of the iPods I've had until February 2009; so some bands are missing and some were listened much more in reality...and then, as of December 2009, I don't dare even plug my iPod again, due to the issues between iPod classics and iTunes 9. So, these aren't 100% correct. Not to mention artists whose names cannot be fixed, so I had to remove them from the library and all those times when last.fm failed. Oh, and vinyl LPs.

And yes, I do run http://invisible-movement.net but that doesn't make me a better or worse person or into long pointless chats about what the site's subject had for breakfast etc. In fact, I am relieved when I see people whose favourite artists aren't consisting only of aunts, cousins, ex-girlfriends, friends, house pets and kitchen appliances of the said person only.
