Funnily I think "This is the life" is one of the average songs on the album, the whole rest is very awesome. The first Song of her I ever listened to was "Footballer's wife", I never even knew there is a single out yet. Interestingly the Songs I don't like so much always come out as singles later or already have been released as singles and I just didn't know. So if I don't like a specific Song, there is a high chance of seeing this song soon as a single :D :D.

I know what u mean. No problem with you. I don't see what's the problem of a song being catchy anyways. Then again, for ex. the beatles has catchy songs and they were the best band in the world. Catchy doesn't mean bad. But I think i get what u mean by catchy, you don't want amy to become some kind of popstar . The most part of my posts where directed to OOODerDudeOOO and his friend who wrote damn overrated just because derdude said to him to put it here, really pathetic. They don't know amy's music that well, they based their opinions in This is the life and tv commercials. I don't go to artists pages to bash, it's really pointless.

I think a part of your comment is pointed to me. No offense but I say I'm really a huge fan and here in Holland she's not that pushed but she's that commercial. Okay, she is, still she is good, very good. Only thing is that people starting to say, when she's getting famous that she's overrated. I hope you see my point. And about The Killers etc. I think you didn't read good enough, her music taste + her own style, will result in a really good album. The new songs where you're talking about (The Next Big Thing, Your Time Will Come and Troubled Soul) are really good and not really catchy in my opinion. So, that's a good sign. I don't like it when artists going to start play save on there follow-up album.

People who think amy is overrated are missing the point. Their opinions are based in just listening This is the life on radio 7/24, commercials on tv and good sells. Did they listen other songs? The entire albm? b-sides? Covers? Did they see amy live? or videos on youtube?. And to see that a person who listen ac/dc (the most overrated band in the world) saying amy is overrated is just a joke. Sorry, but I hate whhen people say an opinion based only because she was pushed in a tv commercial or because she has a song 7/24 on radio. You're totally missing the point.

She's commercial but not THAT commercial. I don't see the problem in making a catchy tune. Sorry, but The killers, Travis, Kasabian, etc make catchy tunes all the time. IMO amy has the best combination catchy tunes + Good lyrics + Good music. It's just my opinion. I'm from argentina and here nobody know amy, so is still underground for me. Not always being successful translate to overrated. She deserves so much more.

I agree with OOODerDudeOOO that see is really pushed in Germany, I don't agree with the fact she is so pushed. I don't think see has done that by herself but the label is responsible for these com-commercial things. I'm really a huge fan, but she is little overrated, cos she is so commercial in Germany, here in The Netherlands absolutely not, but that's not important. It's a piety cos she's always against commercial, according to her blogs on MySpace en Twitter. That, probably, the label is responsible is for this sucks hard. But I'm waiting on a new album and hope there is no catchy tune on it, it needs to be more underground. I think with her music taste (Travis, The Killers, The Libertines, Kasabian, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson etc.) it is possible. A mix of those influences and her own style it will be an album to remember. I'm waiting for the winter of 2010 :D

In Germany, she was pushed in every commercial break, so many people like her boring similar songs, but this music is just idealess. There is better music.
