Crust punk (sometimes simply crust) is one of the evolutions of anarcho-punk and hardcore punk, mixed with distorted extreme metal guitar riffs. Post-Hardcore is more of a progression past the constraints and structures of Hardcore whereas Crust is still indebted to the limitations of Hardcore, it just has a more nastier metal tone to it.

And as for anarcho-punk I mean bands old school punk bands that kept to th ethics of the punk rock community like crass rather than bands like the sex pistols who were really nothing more than arrogant corporate stooges. Modern anarcho-punk is more of an ideological stance than a genre, as most "anarcho-punks" play in either folk-punk or crust-punk bands. But back to the original point I still don't really see what makes crust a totally separate genre.

Fuzzier recording quality combined with heavier more "metallic" distortion. Throw in some metal riffs here and there, slow it down (sometimes), use growls instead of hardcore shouts and there ya go, crust. Black Flag certainly doesn't sound like Amebix although both bands are metal influenced. The same goes for Suicidal Tendencies not sounding like Doom. See? This is way different than Hardcore, while still having the same root sounds. As for Anarcho? Anarchopunk to me has been more of an ideology than a sound. This ideology is present in Crust.
