Boris draw influence from a huge variety of styles including, but not limited to, , , , , , , , , and . The band’s name is taken from a song on Melvins’ album, Bullhead.

They released their debut full-length album, Absolutego, on their own label, Fangs Anal Satan, in 1996. You just said you're old enough, so there's no problem. Why do people have such a problem about going to gigs on their own? If you only want to go if you have someone to go with then you can't be THAT bothered about going... In which case you have nothing to complain about.

The 3 songs from Noise they played on Tuesday night were really good. There was one riff that was heavy as fuck and I gotta go back in June to see them play the whole album in its entirety.

why don't they make a tshirt with just a massive print of the band instead of that silly cover? a man can dream, but he's not man enough to let himself wear something this uncool...

I'm not expecting/hoping for different versions, but if there are any I think the Daymare LP is the mostly likely candidate for being different. Was Smile the last time they properly released separate versions of the same album? I guess the 3rd release of Vein kinda counts and you could argue PurpleRocks/NewAlbum/AttentionPlease do to an extent too.

The Japanese cover is way better than the (frankly, not very good) US cover.

Nothing I've read seems to indicate that the Japan and International versions are different mixes, but even if they are that's just more Boris to listen to!
