they're not a metal band but they have grind/metal riffs. but arguing what is or isn't metal is usually a pointless discussion

"Metalheads are just mad that one of the best metal bands to come out in quite a while ended up being discovered and embraced by 'hardcore kids'." well i mean what were people expecting? they're not a metal band - metalheads only hear the entombed influence because that's all they know to look for. they're predominantly grind/pv - AAL has some more blatant death metal riffs but the song structures are still definitely punk-based.

darkgnome, I don't understand your existence here. You insult Americans, yet you're a 33 yo. internet troll - posting insults on the pages of bands you don't like. I don't think that's much of a position to be throwing insults around, regardless of what music a person listens to. It's all subjective, but being an internet troll who's at an age that you'd expect maturity from by now - not so much.

My peak interest in metal-oriented music was in 2008-09. Having ventured out of the silo and into many different styles/genres, hearing Abandon All Life completely blew me away. This band honestly destroys.
