New Wave

New Wave is a subgenre of Punk that originated in the late 1970s and continued in the 1980s. It emerged from punk rock as a reaction against the popular music of the 1970s. New Wave was essentially a blending of Punk and Pop with heavy use of the synthesizer (though, not always the case), but it also incorporated various influences as well as aspects of mod subculture, electronic music, disco, and funk. New Wave and Post-Punk dominates my library :)), I just wished there'd be someone in my school who shares the same musical tastes as mine :<, I like a lot of new wave bands! but most of them are the totally obscured ones! such as Colour Radio (aaaa not here on last.fm!?) and Voice of America (songs like "Story of Love", and "I Will Tell"), but anyways, New Wave isn't dead!
