  • Favorite albums in order: 1. Lullabies For The Dormant Mind. 2. Prisoners. 3. Once Only Imagined. 4. Eye of Providence.
  • eye of providence was mediocre overall. they were heading in a great direction with prisoners but its almost as if they went backwards to more of a business suits and combat boots amature-ish style. no singer bias but angela has more of a metal voice that fit the band better. vicky's voice doesn't feel very metal-ish, whatever that means
  • Kinda liked the music on their latest, but not the vocals as much. The new chick has annoying (clean) screams, almost a bit nasal and false-y at times, and I never was a big fan of the typical inhale screams either. I think she'll get better down the line, though. One more album or two and she should do great. Right now she kinda reminds me of a young female version of Mike Patton (Faith No More).
  • In the case of The Agonist, Vicky is a pretty good studio vocalist but her lives are very so so. She is often out of breath and misses almost half of the words in harsh parts, especially performing their older songs. The only thing I try to convince myself is that it's the matter of time, she'll get the necessary experience and her screaming/growling will improve 'cause she's definitely talented. But at the moment her harsh vocals seem to be a lot less versatile than Alissa's, they sound superficially and lack power though her cleans are pretty awesome, btw.
  • I actually think Vicky is a much better vocalist than Alissa, but damn, I wish the rest of the band would match her talent though.
  • New album is better imho than new Arch Enemy one.
