About This Track

MK Ultra is the 7th track on Muse’s 5th studio album The Resistance. The title of the song is derived from Project MK-ULTRA, the code name for a CIA project that sought to use drugs for the purposes of mind control and interrogation. The song is described as being “electric sounding” and having “spidery riffs”.

    MK ultra was an american black ops thing about mind control. The line "they're breaking through" is about the outside influences reading your mind. There's more MK's as well and many have said that American media uses sections of MK Ultra to infiltrate your mind. Studied it myself a few years ago
