“3 Libras” is featured on A Perfect Circle’s debut album Mer de Noms. It includes acoustic guitar and viola in a mellow verse, eventually leading to a conversely powerful chorus.

This song starts out slow and sweet, and follows through with emotional lyrics. The lyrics touch base on numerous subjects; unrequited love, being overlooked and unnoticed, being used, caring too deeply about a shallow recipient, and the emotional turmoil that comes along with being taken for granted, all delivered by the powerful vocals of Maynard James Keenan.

On the album, Mer De Noms, 3 Libras is the first track. The album also features a live version of 3 Libras as the fifth and final track.
