Both were born in Ontario, Canada - Nicole on December 7, 1974, her sister Natalie on May 14, 1973 - to their British mother Mary and Canadian father, Ken. In 1994, the sisters joined Shaznay Lewis and former schoolmate Melanie Blatt to form the pop girl group All Saints.
