Biography

United Kingdom (1999 – 2003)

S Club 7 were a group who emerged in 1999 and lasted into the early part of this decade. The group had 7 main singers/dancers Rachel Stevens, Paul Cattermole, Jo O’Meara, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, and Hannah Spearritt.

S Club 7 became very popular in the UK and America with their show, Miami 7, which changed name to L.A. 7 in a later season. Accompanying the show were TV length movies. S Club 7 reached a high level of fame with such hit singles such as: Bring It All Back, Never Had A Dream Come True, Don’t Stop Movin and Have You Ever.

The group changed their name to S Club. The name was changed due to the loss of Paul, who left to pursue other endeavours. They eventually split in 2003 amid rumours of drug and alcohol problems for members and internal struggles between the cast members. Rachel Stevens is the only member who has gone on to find any significant solo success.

S Club Juniors (also known as S Club 8) were a less successful spin-off group, who were made up of teenagers and pre-teens.

In late 2008, three of the original S Club 7 members - Jo O’Meara , Bradley Mcintosh and Paul Cattermole - announced the formation of S Club 3. They toured universities and other smaller venues from October 2008 to August 2009, singing previous S Club hits. As of now there are no plans to record new material.

However, rumours suggest all S Club 7 members may be reuniting for a reunion tour soon.

I had the most MASSIVE crush on Paul when S Club 7 were in their heyday. i don't think any American teenager was as obsessed with S Club 7 as I was.

S Club 7 did reunite with some members as S Club and trust me, don't look it up. It's just sad. Paul used to be so hot and now he looks like a bloated version of himself, and Jo's voice sounded tired and they used a totally obvious backtrack. :(

The only time I've ever been heart broken is when S club 7 broke up. I need them to get back together so I can have my happy ending.

No, they shouldn't. Some things are better left back then when our childhood memories are not tainted with the hell of their 'return'. Look at Steps. Jesus, they look like five estate agents who have suffered in the current economic climate. It's depressing.
