what a stupid word, tribal. why is a group of white people living under capitalism called a "community" and a group of non-white people living among nature called a "tribe"? when you stop to think of how western cultures talk, you realise how stupid it is.

True. Because people will tag and artist with 'tribal' when they clearly are not. Then you go to play the radio and it's plutted with crap like the 'Fuck Buttons' or worse.

You can also search for specific artists using a few file sharing site search engines and Soulseek. That's mostly what I do, I never browse by just genre because I never know exactly what I'm getting when just downloading random stuff from a genre.

Largely speaking, a good place to check for this stuff is to google "chanarchive" followed by the genre of your choosing - very easy to find very hard to find gems
