Steve Jablonsky (born October 9, 1970) is an American music composer for film, television and video games working at Hans Zimmer's studio Remote Control Productions (formerly known as Media Ventures).

I assume it's because the filmmakers keep demo-scoring the film with popular trailer music, then asking Steve to compose something that sounds as much like it as possible.
