The techno scene ripped of a genre name which was already assigned for at least 10-15 years. There is only one hardcore!

@sangremuerto: Hardcore, the guitar-based one (not electronic), is a subgenre of punk. You wanted to teach me about what hardcore is without knowing that it is punk? Ugh. Here, educate yourself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardcore_punk

@CriticalSwitch "and the fact Soulfly covered Discharge (twice) and Bad Brains; Nailbomb covered Doom; Sepultura covered Final Conflict and Ratos de Porão" ok, and ware is hardcore? all of those bands is punk.

@sangremuerto: Yeah, and the fact Soulfly covered Discharge (twice) and Bad Brains; Nailbomb covered Doom; Sepultura covered Final Conflict and Ratos de Porão (during recording Chaos A.D., when a guy from Dead Kennedys joined Sepultura to write lyrics for "Biotech Is Godzilla"), this fact doesn't say anything, that's for sure. Nailbomb and good half of Soulfly and Sepultura are hardcore, you have to be deaf to not recognize it.
