    sweden and norway have been neighbouring countries for centuries, and I can assure you that's not the way people are over there :) it's true that a lot of scandinavians are seen as being closed, which might appear rude and unfriendly, but a lot of them aren't actually. My roommate loved her music the first time, so she was a bit thrown aback when she went up to lykke after the show, enthusiastically telling her how good she was, and lykke li just nodded, didn't even smile, and ended the conversation there. I excused it by telling her she was swedish (little bit of an inside joke between norway and sweden) ;) I saw LL in 2007 anyway, so I don't know how much her ways have changed since then.

    @alicetragedy, when I saw Lykke Li live for the first time at Coachella back in April, she most definitely introduced her band members. She seems to keep the same people around, and they always sound different, which means they probably have a lot of creative control over her sound. She seemed very gracious to the crowd. I'm a bit shocked by your posting. D;

    @alicetragedy , maybe you should've updated it instead of posting it then ? As for her not acknowleging her bandmates , I don't know if I could comment on that but given that she is from sweden , a country that many don't know about including myself . Maybe it's just the way people are over there ? and maybe we look it @ it as rude ? so I don't think we're able to judge if she's really a rude insincere person .

    @fons-a-hoe: I know she doesn't perform anymore - that entry is archived from 2008, back when she was still performing. I try to be open-minded - I really like LL's music, but as I already said my experiences of seeing her live have completely ruined my impression of her. I think not acknowledging the musicians who play for you while you are onstage is one of the most rude things anyone could do, but maybe you don't agree? and to me, a lot of people (not just musicians, I am speaking in general terms) are "just being themselves" these days. it's constantly being used as an excuse for getting away with acting like total jerks. this said, I am glad to apparently be the only one to have had a terrible lykke li live experience (twice) - probably I just haven't got a clue about what makes a good performance.

    @alicetragedy , nice promotion but I'm sad to say I clicked on it . I think you have to be a bit open minded to understand why her dancing is somewhat interesting , I don't go to her shows to see her dance , I go to see her perform and if dancing is added then so be it . I give her credit for being herself , I've met her few times and I can say she's nothing as you perceive her as , she's one of the nicest people in the music industry oh and fyi soko doesn't perform anymore

    @hippyhobbit: how did she get away with 'being a dancer' if she can't dance? this has been on my mind for quite a while now. or is it just me? http://bit.ly/SqY16
