"And She Was" is the name of a rock song from the 1985 Talking Heads album Little Creatures written by David Byrne. According to Byrne, the song was written about a girl he knew who used to take LSD in a field next to a Yoo-hoo beverage factory in Baltimore, Maryland. It reached number 54 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 17 on the British singles chart.
