It's just one of those Dylan songs that fuck with your heart in the deepest level possible. Amazing, beautiful and sad

She was born in spring, but I was born too late - blame it on a simple twist of fate.

I can't believe I waited so long on Dylan. Spectacular music. Nothing short of pure art.

I love Blood on the Tracks but it literally makes me weep. I've only listened to the album in it's entirety 3 times.

I don't know... there's great beauty in the album as well as pain. I wouldn't call it an ordeal, though it's certainly a heavy listen.

Yes it's incredible that Dylan continued to fine-tune his lyrics years after the song was released. An absolute perfectionist. I like the quote from foG_. For me, Blood on the Tracks is an ordeal which you have to get through, rather than music to be enjoyed.

They sat together in the park As the evening sky grew dark, She looked at him and he felt a spark tingle to his bones. 'Twas then he felt alone and wished that he'd gone straight And watched out for a simple twist of fate. <3

This is a classic song from a truly classic album. This is a very interesting version with alternative verses.
