Band of Horses is a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina based indie rock band, formed by Ben Bridwell and Mat Brooke in 2004 after the break-up of their previous band, Carissa's Weird. Their debut album, Everything All the Time, was released March 21, 2006. In July 2006 Mat Brooke left Band of Horses due to the success of his other band, Grand Archives.
