In my opinion this was their last punk album based on the message from the White Crosses track I Was A Teenage Anarchist. And even in punk bands r going for different like Wire and The Fall I am still a fan of this band on this album!

While this is good in it's own right, this album is absolute fucking trash compared to their earlier stuff. I don't want to sound an asshole, but it's the truth.

I find "stop!" really cringe worthy, i think the lyrics are incredibly lame and i'm not sure if I like this album or not but it's better than white crosses.

The curse of being a punk band: critics hate you if you keep playing the same thing for years and if you expand your sound even an iota (much like AM! on this album) your fans call you sellouts.

Thrash, Stop!, White People, Borne and New Wave are real let downs on this album - everything else is pretty good. Full Sesh, Gypsy Panther, Untitled and You Must be Willing could have easily replaced a few of those.
