A lot more straight-forward neoclassic-tinged power metal with some kind of mediocre growls thrown in. Not bad, but not particularly good either. Their first two are far better, even if they're heavily "inspired" by Symphony X.

The first two are definitely more esteemed... but I find something very appealing about this album. It's got the neo-classical tinge, the orchestral synths, the playful-yet-devious hard rock riffage and some ultra-intriguing vocals. Gus Monsanto is not the best vocalist ever, but I admire his variance and the personality that seeps through his performance. A fine album indeed.

I've steered clear of this album love to 1st two, the stringless violin has to be one of the greatest songs ever made, but i digress. Anywho just didn't like the description of this album. Some1 should convince me otherwise and i might cop this album.
