    I don't believe this tag is stupid, it has a well defined meaning applicable to many different artists (See above). Put simply, it describes a solo artist who makes use of lots of different instruments in their recordings. Multi instrumentalists usually play all of the instruments on the recordings themselves, layering one on top of the other using multitracking technology. Lots of artists do it, so what is stupid about it's use as a tag on Last FM, Alfredeus?
