Classical

Classical music is a broad term that usually refers to music produced in, or rooted in the traditions of Western liturgical and secular music, encompassing a broad period from roughly the 9th century to present times. The central norms of this tradition became codified between 1550 and 1900, which is known as the common practice period. Read more…|Edit this Artist photo: Antonio Vivaldi

LMAO this is garbage-defined. maybe mozart.. and Phillip glass, about 2/10.. man up and listen to rock/metal.. this is hilariously bad. classic fans also think they are more "intellectual" which makes me laugh for hours, i almost popped a rib once when i read that before

Compared to what Ive listened to for most of my life (various metal/rock genres, punk, classic rock, prog rock, post-rock) this music is vastly different and exciting. [3]

the average 'classical music fan' is a pretentious postering schmuck who probably knows everything from mahler to mozart and that is it. I'm sure they'd have a lot of big words in response, but it's not like classical music is on the cutting edge anymore, so it's okay of only the dead are appreciated.

that's because, unlike metal dorks, people who listen to classical understand that definitions of words can change and cover more than what the original definition did. [2] unfortunately not only metalheads are like that and, what's even more unfortunate, not every classical music fan is that open-minded. oh well.

Great about classical music is, that there's music for every mood. There is happy music, there's sad music, and it is music for all time! people in 10 thousand years will still listen to Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Chopin etc. That's why I Love Classical music! [2] I totally agree!!, and modern classical is very good too.

Classical music in terms of the technicality involved and the complexity of the compositions is certainly the greatest genre. This is obvious when you listen to the likes of Chopin and the orchestral composers. This however does not make it a greater genre than any other, as there is no such thing as a good or bad genre. It's just musicians and compositions people like.
