not that tags are subjective but keep in mind, tags =/= genre, different people have different ways of using tags such as 'anime', i can use it to tag the artists whose songs i've listened to from a certain anime as an op ed etc... in general, there are so many permutations on how to use tags, and ffs, if you're infuriated by those who tag non-anime related artists with 'anime', then it's their fault for being ignorant, no need to generalize
