@bobo9390 understand your point of view man, but I simply cannot see hardcore just as music. It's never been just music, it's always been something more. I'm an open-minded guy in general but I guess I'm a narrow-minded one with that particular thing: for me hardcore is a lifestyle and I simply can't understand it in another way. For me there's no place for those "poppy fanboy things" in hardcore, but you're right when you say everybody paid the same price to get in the show and enjoy it however they want to enjoy it, of course. But it's sad that we're losing the essence of the scene: we've never had rockstars, the bands and the crowd had always been the same. Doing these kind of things we're building unnecesary boundaries between bands and crowd.

"When did hardcore become a kind of poppy fanboy thing?" Telling other people how to enjoy the genre/scene is ridiculous. Plus some of us that like Hardcore couldn't care less about what the scene is all about. I just like the music. There's nothing wrong with embracing it as a lifestyle, but don't frown upon people at shows who choose not to. They paid the same price to get in.

Or maybe you just don't know what the fuck hardcore is about. And it really isn't about touching the band members and never wash your hand again. I thought that was something believers and directioners did, not someone who listens to hardcore. That's just ridiculous.
