Baltimore, Maryland

Pianos Become the Teeth is a post-rock/screamo band from Baltimore, Maryland. The band’s songs often detail loss and acceptance, and musically, draw from post-hardcore dynamics and structures. Pianos Become the Teeth released two full-lengths — ‘Old Pride’ (2010) and ‘The Lack Long After’ (2011) — and numerous splits on Topshelf Records before signing to Epitaph Records, which will release the band’s third LP, ‘Keep You,’ on October 28, 2014.

Loved Old Pride and TLLA. Seen them live about 2 years ago and was totally underwhelmed and lost a lot of interest in them. Really enjoying both Hiding and Repine which has rekindled my interest in this band in a big way. Hopefully seeing them with a new sound and in a smaller venue in January will be a better experience for me.

@suzy Pianos, or at least "Repine," doesn't sound anything like any other band on Epitaph.

Repine <3 [3] the new album will probably be great, but not even half as good as Saltwater
