Biography

There is more than one artist using this name:

1. The Scruffs were Memphis’ other great power pop group, lead by singer/guitarist Stephen Burns. Their debut album Wanna Meet The Scruffs? was released in 1977. A second album, Teenage Gurls, was not released until some twenty years later though it had been recorded in the late seventies. Stephen Burns moved to Scotland in the late ’90s where he eventually recorded another Scruffs album, Pop Manifesto, which was issued in January of 2007.
