The Pains of Being Pure at Heart is an band which formed in 2007 in New York City. They consist of Kip Berman (vocals, guitar), Peggy Wang (vocals, keyboards), Alex Naidus (bass) and Kurt Feldman (drums). Feldman also plays guitar and sings in The Ice Choir.

    What a pointless comparison. Why compare a band that's very popular with one that was more than relatively obscure during their run on Sarah, then rediscovered somewhat later by indie kids listening to rough trade complications. Its nowhere close.
