1) The Cinematics are a Scottish band currently based in Glasgow. The bands debut album “A Strange Education” was relased in 2007. They then toured extensivley throughout North America and Europe supporting acts such as Editors, We Are Scientists, Snow Patrol and The Bravery.
The band have recently finished recording a new album in their home town of Glasgow and the much anticipated new single “Love and Terror” will be released on the 4th of May 2009.
2) The Cinematics was the earliest musical project of Tim Vass and Gregory Webster, later of the Creation act Razorcuts. Their only release was the Farewell to the Playground EP on Pulsebeat from 1982.
