Biography

The Cape Race are a 5 piece rock band from Manchester, United Kingdom, formed in 2010.

On the basis of mere bedroom demos, The Cape Race, received overwhelmingly positive reactions across a range of media including radio (live session and multiple plays from BBC Radio), print press (4/5 review in Kerrang! Magazine) and online (exclusive content from popular music blogs such as Punktastic.com & Alter The Press).

In October 2010, the band recorded their debut album ‘Now, Voyager’ with Peter Miles (Canterbury, The King Blues, Futures, Tellison, Failsafe).

The lead single from ‘Now, Voyager. - They’re Young, They’re In Love - was released on New Year’s Day 2011, along with the first of six videos for year.
