Sleater-Kinney is a band which formed in 1994 in Olympia, Washington, United States. The band's lineup is Corin Tucker (vocals, guitar), Carrie Brownstein (vocals, guitar) and Janet Weiss (drums). Before Weiss, the band had a succession of drummers, including Lora Macfarlane, Misty Farrell and Toni Gogin.

I enjoy Sleater-Kinney and I'm far from a feminist. Also have to take in to account what feminism generally practiced/stood for in the 90s and what they practice today are two different beast all together. Still, you don't have to agree with what a song says to understand/enjoy it.
