About this album

Peepshow is the ninth studio album by the English post-punk band Siouxsie & the Banshees and their first as a quintet. With the arrival of multi-instrumentalist Martin McCarrick, the band recorded one of their most musically complex albums, including the singles “Peek-a-Boo” and “The Last Beat of My Heart”.

This was such an original and beautifully crafted album from a really underrated group. Budgie, Siouxsie and the others were all such amazing musicians and artists.

My favourite album by Siouxsie and the Basnshees. I adore Peekaboo, Scarecrow, Burn Up, Ornaments Of Gold, Rhapsody, Last Beat Of My Heart, Carousel, Turn To Stone, but my favourite has to be The Killing Jar if only for Sevrin's driving bass line which carries the song along.

Unusual album. Weird themes, but not very electronic music, which i think would have matched it better, the dark content and fairytales, its a bit too hoe down rock for me. Too samey. Not as good as other albums. All the sampled sounds are innovative for that time, but the rock band set up, annoyed me about the eighties sound.

Rhapsody is simply mind-blowing. Scarecrow is awesome too. Those are my favourite tracks from this album.

Also my personal favorite along with Through the Looking Glass right now, just like CaptnRhodes (Juju and The Scream are next). As for favorites, it's tough to say with no fillers at all, but "The Killing Jar" is probably my favorite song from them, so there.

Their best along with _Through The Looking Glass_ no fillers here like on other Banshees albums. "Scarecrow" and "Ornaments Of Gold" are my favourites though.
