About this album

The Art of War is the fifth album by Swedish power metal band Sabaton.
The lyrics of the songs are about famous battles or war, mostly based on the battles of World War II or the eponymous book by Sun Tzu. Released in 2008. There are many forms of the CD release: One in DVD case containing an additional single (“Cliffs of Gallipoli”) and an English translation of “Art of War”, another one with just the additional single and a t-shirt etc…
