Thanks for citing The Durutti Column here, optimistic_tour. Vini is one of my favorite guitar players ever and 13 Moons have, indeed, a huge inspiration from his first albums.

A Year With 13 Moons is just spectacular. So happy I picked up the vinyl. Artwork cements the Durutti Column connection for me.

I took the new album as an experience of sad emotions. It's a creative and well made set of tracks, I could say high rank of electronic collage, but the atmosphere of loneliness was keeping me on far distance from the album.Anyway artist put a lot of hard work into and I appreciate that.

Okay... this new album is gorgeous. Some of it, like Disappear, reminds me greatly of The Durutti Column which is awesome, since I'm a huge fan.
