v You haven't heard Everythings Gone and Rusted Nail or what? Lol. If you listen to those 3 songs I think you have a good grip of how the album will sound with it's different type of songs since they all 3 sound very different.

"Through Oblivion" is not just bad - it's fucking disgusting. If that's what the new In Flames album is gonna sound like, I will personally travel to Goteborg and take their gear away from them.

I didn't say the music was reminiscent of the old days, I said the mumble-talk thing he did was very similar to what he used to do alot mostly between TJR-Clayman. It doesn't sound like anything In Flames previously has done. The chorus is new and unique, a type of DM riff like that I haven't really heard either. So I don't understand how you think it sounds anything like Come Clarity. Sounds more closer to The Puzzle and Enter Tragedy in a few ways.

dikdiel13 I think you didn't understand my point. I wasn't taking about american death metal, i just said that i liked the intro because it sounds like anything from Come clarity rather than STYE or SOAPF. In fact i thought to compare the intro with the golden era, but comparing this song with anything from TJR/Whoracle/Colony is just a blasphemy.

Kaiser_19, how is the oldschool florida inspired DM riff in the verse in any way ''newer in flames''? If anything it's more reminiscent of older In Flames since he's doing the mumble-talk thing in the verses as wel. You may think it's boring though.

Everything's Gone is good on the first 10 seconds. It's fast and reminds me a lot to Come Clarity days, but sadly then becomes newer In Flames, which it means boring. In short, skip it.

I think "Through Oblivion" is somewhat flat. I listened to that track five minutes ago and I can't remember anything, except for the (imo) slight 30 SECONDS TO MARS-ish atmosphere.
