"Sweet Child o' Mine" was Guns N' Roses' first and, to date, only number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100, spending two weeks at the top spot in September 1988. In May 2008, the song was voted as #210 on the RIAA's list of the best songs of the 20th century. A cover of this song appeared in the videogame "Guitar Hero 2."
