I don't know when to start or when to stop
My luck's like a button, I can't stop pushing it
My head feels light but I'm still in the dark
Seems like without tenderness there's something missing

the 80s were so much more upbeat than the darkly grunge 90s, and beyond. [2] Yeah, I'm a little overdosed on Darker and Edgier myself. We certainly had our share of issues in the 80's - Russia, Thatcher, Regan - but not the paralyzing shouting matches and parade of alleged heroes who are no better than what they're fighing. And I'll gladly listen to electronica and progressive metal over most of the "glam" rap playing on comtemporary stations.
