Industry Demos is a collection of four songs from 2001 that Dredg recorded before they were signed to impress record labels. The four songs are “Of the Room”, “Redrawing the Island Map”, “Running Through Propellers”, and “The Papal Insignia.” Despite the fact that the band has not spoke out about these songs, and has not played them as of late (although “Propellers” has made an appearance on setlists prior to the release of CWOA), these songs remain very popular with fans. Of the Room was rerecorded and released on Dredg’s second album El Cielo.

kimrazs "it took a long time for us to learn that people like our old records more that the new ones. if we had heard these kind of comments sooner, we would've paid attention. Nobody cares in the US. it took 7 seven years for them to tell us that they liked El Cielo. so it can be difficult to understand our change in music, but it's logical for us to try something new because we thought people didn't like our previous work. the only song that people in USA and Germany said they liked was Bug Eyes. We didn't know so we always tried something new." this is from an interview they did in turkey.

El_Hound El Cielo is excellent. The new album isn't the pile of turd some make it out to be, nor is it fit to even be compared to El Cielo. Its average at best. Need to listen to CWA and Pariah.
