I like this album. Admittedly I've only properly started listening to Depeche Mode but this album doesn't seem to have any filler tracks on it like the others do. The only thing is that it seems to lack a real stand out track like the older albums do, but as an album I find it much more enjoyable to listen to than the others.

The more time passes, the more i realize, that quite possibly, this might be Depeche Mode's greatest album. "Ultra" is an album entrenched in sonic darkness, yet towards the end of the album with tracks such as "Insight", the listener's journey brings them forth to the light. "Violator" might have been their best selling pop album, but in terms of subject matter and cohesiveness, "Ultra" is their best in my eyes from this day forward.
