I Say I Say I Say is the sixth studio album from synth pop duo Erasure, released in 1994 by Mute Records in the UK and Elektra Records in the U.S. The album was produced by Martyn Ware, who was a founding member of veteran synthpop groups The Human League and Heaven 17.

Upon its release it became Erasure’s fifth consecutive album to hit no.1 in the UK,[2] generating three Top 20 singles. In the U.S. , I Say I Say I Say debuted and peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200, easily beating their previous highest chart placing. In Germany, the album climbed to #6.

    Poor album. Only has one good song on it - 'Always' (but the [7" Mix] is the version you want) - which was also the last good song they made, so don't even bother with subsequent albums from them.

    I was working in a record store when this album came out and we used to play it a lot. We used to put it on right before we closed the store for the night and would dance around and laugh as we were cleaning up, counting out the till, etc. Now whenever I play this album it's like I'm transported back to that time and place.
