Cannonball is the second single of the O album (with The Blower's Daughter being the first one). It reached #32 on the UK Singles Chart. The song is one of Rice's most popular, and has been used in several media, like in the movie In Good Company, and the TV shows Bones, The OC and The L Word. 'Cannonball' was first a top forty UK hit for Irish folk singer Damien Rice back in 2003. After 'X Factor' contestant John Adams used it as his audition piece, the original track soared back into the top ten in September 2011.
