Blind Melon is a rock band from Los Angeles, United States. They were active from 1989 to 1999, and then from 2006 onward.

Might be some grunge influences here and there, but it certainly isn't the main genre of Blind Melon.

A very underrated band. It's a shame they were shoehorned into the "grunge" movement, because very little of their music fits into that category. It's a shame that people only know them for No Rain. I consider them the Yes of the early-90s alt-rock scene, very progressive sound which is a stark contrast to their so-called contemporaries.

Blind Melon is so fucking good, it's a shame Shannon passed away after the band recorded only two studio albums. I'm glad Nico is a thing at least. RIP Shannon
