1. Screaming Trees were a band formed in Ellensburg, Washington in 1985.     Uncle Anesthesia is their masterpiece, no doubt. Sweet Oblivion and Dust seem to get all the attention, but I find Uncle has their best musicianship as well as Mark Lanegan's greatest vocal performance. His singing has always been great but on that album he was fucking unstoppable.
