About This Track

“Nearly Lost You” is a 1992 single by grunge band Screaming Trees. Perhaps their best-known song, it was a moderate success on modern rock radio, partly because of its appearance on the soundtrack to the 1992 Cameron Crowe film Singles. In addition to the soundtrack, Nearly Lost You also appeared on the band’s 1992 breakthrough album Sweet Oblivion.

Barrett Martin, the drummer here, also worked with Stone Temple Pilots and R.E.M. . According to the Nearly Lost You Songfacts, his latest accomplishment is to be ordained a Zen priest, as of 2000.

This era totally brings back the feel good music that is unreplicable. This band NEVER got the recognition they deserved. But what does it matter, songs like this never die.

Hey Deeday~~~Every Generation has it's own great genre, styles, and new slants. Music is dynamic (even disco [barf]) and lends to the whole. I never thought I'd like RAP or HipHop, but EMIMEM and and those in his orbit changed my mind. Alternative metal and nu metal bands like Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Living Colour, and Rage Against the Machine fused rock and hip hop influences to make for interesting stuff.
